Join our attendees communication chatroom

We have set up a private chatroom for AFOWOS2026 attendees on AFO’s Discord Server.

You can use it to communicate with fellow attendees, ask questions to conference organizers, coordinate ride shares and birding outings, share pictures and videos, and more!

To join, follow the link below and join AFO’s general Discord server. Once there, please change your username to your real name. We will assign the “AFOWOS2026 attendee” role to your user, which will grant you access to the private conference channels.

If you have questions regarding how to join, please contact Agustina Torretta (agustinatorretta@afonet.org),

Support our conference!

Conferences are an invaluable space for professional and avocational ornithologists alike: in them we share research, cowork, strengthen bonds among individuals and associations, and advance our knowledge on all things birds.

AFO and WOS have been joining forces and hosting joint conferences for many years— but we can’t do it alone!

We are currently looking for sponsors to support our coming event.
